South Korean electronics giant Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch its Galaxy Grand 3 in India.

Some details about the new smartphone have been revealed by GFX benchmark website.

According to the website, the smartphone carries SM-G7200 model number and it will have a 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM.

It is expected that the Grand 3 would have a 12MP camera in the rear and a 4.7MP front facing camera. The phone is likely to run Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Sammobile reported that it is expected that the phone would release in India in the coming weeks.

The Grand 3 is likely to be successor to the Grand 2 smartphone, which was launched earlier this year.

The Grand 2 features 1.2GHz quad core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 5.2-inch display and 8MP rear camera.
