The family and friends of late Hollywood actor Robin Williams have started arriving in the San Francisco Bay Area to honour the actor.

Williams committed suicide on August 11. He was 63. The private memorial service has been planned by Williams' 50-year-old wife, Susan Schneider.

"Robin's memorial service will likely be small because both Robin and Susan were very private people," a source has been quoted as saying.

The actor has three children from previous marriages - Zak, Zelda and Cody. Cody arrived in Bay Area on August 13 and will attend the memorial service.

The source said that it is likely that the funeral funeral will take place in San Francisco and a memorial will be held for the actor in Los Angeles, but services are likely to be held in San Francisco.

"His family lives there, and he was a real leader in the community and extremely charitable to different organisations in the area as well. It is only fitting he would be buried or spread somewhere in the bay," the source added.
