The countdown clock starts ticking off for the Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 release dates as Microsoft has decided to offer a good deal on the original Surface Book. Customers of the 2-in-1 device stand to get up to $100 savings and they have until April 9 to do so.

The Microsoft Store offers $100 off the laptop with Intel Core i5 processor, which reduces the price to $1,399. Unluckily, the Surface Book discount does not apply to the Intel Core i7 variants. The Redmond-based firm is offering $30 off the Surface Dock when purchased with a Surface Book.

Surface Pro 4 prices were slashed on Amazon. The SP4 with 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage and Intel Core M processor is presently being offered for $841.99, whereas the top end variant with 16 GB RAM, 512 GB storage and Intel Core i7e is being offered for $1,995.
