The Microsoft Surface Phone has triggered a lot of buzz and conjectures around itself. The company has been developing the phone for a long time now but has maintained silence around it.
The latest rumor comes from Chris Capossela, the CMO of Microsoft saying that there is a need for a 'spiritual equivalent' of the surface series of devices in the Microsoft Mobiles division.
The Surface Phones are likely to enter the markets with substantial features, the ones which have never been seen before. This is due to the fact that the Surface Phones are being touted as a business-class offering.
The company is looking forward to equip the phone with many productivity based apps and features, and the device is likely to be a lightweight with metallic body. It is said to feature specs such as 6 to 8GB of RAM, along with up to 500GB of internal storage.
If the company ever announces this device, it will be the third product offering in the Surface series of devices after the Surface Pro tablets and the Surface Book laptop. Microsoft is speculated to unveil the Surface Phone devices around the month of October.
