Now, if your Android smartphone is missing, you may look for it directly by using Google Search app or site.
In a Google Plus post, the company has said that you may ask it to ring the smartphone for you or get a view on Google Maps in order to find your phone.
The users will have to type 'find my phone' in the search bar and Google will locate their phone on the map. Also, there is an option to Ring the phone.
The smartphone will ring for five minutes once you click the ring option. To use this feature you have to ensure that your phone's GPS is active and the device is not switched off. Locating your smartphone will not be easy in case you lose it in a place where the GPS signal is not strong.
Android Device Manager enables the user to find Google through the Google Now voice command feature. The user has to register the device with the feature in order to make sure the Device manager can locate it.
