Users in India, Philippines and Malaysia can enjoy the YouTube Gaming from today. The service is Google's venture into the live game-streaming space, currently dominated by Twitch.

The YouTube Gaming app is available for Android and iOS.

The app offers easy switching between live streams of games and recorded sessions. One feature which is not available on Twitch, but available on the YouTube Gaming is the ability to reverse and watch the stream while it is still live.

The Android app enables gamers to record and stream their sessions live using the front facing camera and the microphone. Another feature available exclusively on Android app, is pop out playback, which covers the playback of the video in the corner of the screen.

There are some changes specific to gamers such as the side bar has been replaced with a top bar for navigation. You can surf live streams, channels or popular games. Recommendations for watching are based on the user's activity on the site.

Live chat is offered on the streams. Publisher channels are available, and the whole experience is organized which means that people at Google make sure that only the most interesting videos and streams appear on top.
