Popular messaging app WhatsApp has now become an indispensable tool for everyone using a smartphone.
But the users should not overstep the limits set by the developers. Here are the two main warning messages you need to take note of, as told by WhatsApp in its Frequently Asked Questions section.
1. "You're temporarily banned from WhatsApp"
This usually happens when,
"Sending too many messages to users who do not have your number saved in their address books. Make sure that you ask all of your WhatsApp contacts to add your current number to their address books."
or
"Creating too many groups that contain users who do not list you in their address books. Make sure that you ask all of your WhatsApp contacts to add your current number to their address books."
"Being blocked by too many people in a short period of time. Make sure you only communicate with people who want to receive messages from you."
Be nice, don't act like a stalker. If you are not getting replies, stay away. This usually is followed by the next thing not to do.
"Sending the same message to too many people. Use Broadcast Lists to send the same message to your contacts."
Avoid spamming. Whether you are canvasing for votes for some competition, or just love repeating yourself. WhatsApp recommends the usage of their Broadcast Lists feature, should you require the need to send the same message to multiple contacts.
