Valve outs best-selling Steam games of 2016, cuts prices: No Man's Sky, The Division, Rocket League, and more

Valve has released the list of top 100 most downloaded games of 2016 on Steam, all of which are still being offered at a discount. So if you still haven't taken advantage of Steam's Winter sale you could do so now.

Keep in mind that Steam players who weren't able to grab discounted titles during the Winter sale, this may be the last chance to do so, as all the games in the top 100 are up for slashed prices, some being offered for up to 80 percent less than their original price.

Valve has not disclose download figures and revenue, although it has divided games into platinum, gold, silver, and bronze, in descending order of sales. Among the best-sellers in the platinum division are Dota 2, Xcom 2, and No Man's Sky.

The gold division includes maverick-made Stardew Valley, whose Harvest Moon-inspired gameplay and visuals has already won over huge crowds; Doom, id Software's reboot of the eponymous franchise; and Call of Duty: Black Ops III, a Call of Duty series entry needless of an explanation.

The best-sellers list is quite a big one, and those looking for a great deal should navigate immediately to Steam before the Winter sale ends Jan. 2, at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.
