Four soldiers and seven marines went missing early Wednesday when an Army helicopter crashed in Florida.
According to Eglin Air Force Base spokesman, Andy Bourland the debris of the helicopter washed up on shore after one of the two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, which were participating in a routine night time training mission, crashed.
Bourland also said that a search and rescue operation is on but it will be too early to comment on the cause of the crash. He added further there were "weather issues" in the night.
A Coast Guard vessel recovered the debris of the aircraft that included helicopter's tail rotor during the night, said the officials. The aircraft left from Destin, Florida, and crashed over the water.
The choppers and air crew were assigned to the Army National Guard unit out of Hammond, Louisiana.
