Samsung Galaxy S7 to be cheaper than Galaxy S6: Report - Samsung's next big smartphone, probably called the Galaxy S7, may be cheaper than this year's Galaxy S6, according to Times of India report.

Pan Jiutang, a China-based analyst, who specializes in China's electronics supply chain, said Samsung is looking to price the Galaxy S7, approximately 10 percent lower at launch than the Galaxy S6.

At the moment, the South Korean tech giant is facing pressure from Chinese companies such as Lenovo, Xiaomi and others as they are offering a great set of tech specs at a cheaper price.

However, Samsung recently said that it has attained a 50 percent share in the Indian premium phone market.
