OnePlus launches exchange and buyback program for OnePlus 2, OnePlus - Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus, has introduced a new exchange program that will allow customers to upgrade to a new OnePlus handset in exchange for their old phone.

In partnership with ReGlobe, an enterprise for product management, the company is offering exchange or buyback programs under which it will offer OnePlus X and OnePlus 2.

Potential customers have to get the value of their older device calculated at the ReGlobe page or register on the OnePlus page to check if their old smartphone features in the list to begin with the registration process for a OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X.

OnePlus is offering 2 types of exchange schemes. Buy first, sell later or sell first, buy next. Under the first scheme, you will receive the invite code for the new OnePlus smartphone of choice and have the option to schedule a pick-up of the older device for a future date.

Under the second exchange scheme, you have the choice to sell your older device first and after the sale transaction is complete, ReGlobe will send an invite to purchase a OnePlus smartphone of their choice along with an Amazon Gift Coupon that matches the older device's value.

The free insurance (only for OnePlus X and OnePlus 2) can be availed only if the buyback or exchange price of the old device amounts to Rs 5,000 and above.

The exchange scheme is valid till December 31, 2015, and is available in select Indian cities.
