Miss Universe 2015: Steve Harvey faces flak for mistakenly announcing Miss Colombia the winner - Miss Universe 2015 was so unnerving that it looked that some people would faint.

Miss Universe pageant has now become rather boring and the coveted event has lost its charm in the past few years but this year the pageant was on every network, thanks to a major goof-up by the show's host, Steve Harvey.

Harvey committed a blunder by first announcing Miss Colombia as the winner of the Miss Universe 2015 competition and when the beautiful lady was busy waving at the crowd and enjoying her moment of glory, Harvey gathered courage and admitted that he has committed a mistake. He then announced that it was actually Miss Philippines who has won the title and Miss Colombia was the first runner up.

Miss Universe pagaent saw the contestants from different nations across the world. This time there was a biracial beauty from Japan, a refugee immigrant from Australia and Indonesian Muslim girl too. But it would not be wrong to say that all these diversities would have gone unnoticed of Harvey has not committed the mistake.

Harvey while making the announcement claimed that Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, was the new Miss Universe. The beautiful lady obviously got very happy but her happiness was short lived as Harvey corrected his mistake the very next minute. Following the announcement, Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned Miss Universe 2015.
