Country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki is all prepared to announce its most awaited crossover vehicle S-Cross in India. The S-Cross is Maruti's first crossover to be announced in India.

Accordion to reports Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will be available only in two diesel options - a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 and a 1.6-litre DDiS 320. The smaller unit will give a maximum power output of 90.2 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque and the larger 1.6-litre oil burner produces 119.6 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque.

Originally the S-Cross will be available in FWD option,an AWD variant is expected to be launched at a later date.

The Sigma will be the most inexpensive S-Cross to be available in the market. Despite it being the base model, the car offers some exclusive features that include Body Colored Door handles and Outside Rear View Mirror,Chrome Front Grille, 16 inch Steel Wheel, Fabric Seat Upholstery, TFT Information Display With Trip Meter & Fuel Consumption,Front Disc Brake, Engine Immobilizer,Central Locking, Keyless Entry, Manual AC, Electrically Adjustable ORVMs, Tilt-adjustable Steering and 60:40 Split Rear Seats.

Besides features offered in base model, the Sigma (O) comes with features such as Rear Disc Brake, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Front Passenger Side Airbag.

The mid variant Delta is available in both the 1.3- and 1.6-litre engine options. Besides features provided on Sigma Optional, the Delta offers Black Roof Rail (DDiS 200 Delta) / Silver Roof Rail (DDiS 320 Delta), Reverse Parking Sensor, Audio with CD Player, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, Bluetooth Connectivity and Telescopic Steering.

The Zeta's features include 16-inch Alloy Wheels, Turn Indicators on ORVM, Reverse Parking Camera, Rear Wiper, Smartplay Infotainment System, Navigation System, Automatic AC, Vanity Mirror Lamps, Voice Command, Rear Centre Armrest with Cup Holder, Reclining Rear Seat, Engine Start/Stop Button and Cruise Control.

The S-Cross Alpha is the top model and comes with LED Positioning Lamps, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, Leather Seat Upholstery, HID-Projector Headlamps, Auto Dimming Inside Rear View Mirror and Automatic Headlamps.
