A man sprayed wasp killer and rolled a machete at TSA agents and passengers at the New Orleans international airport creating a ruckus at the airport.

According to Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand, on Friday evening, Richard White, 62, came up to the airport security checkpoint and started spraying and then he drew a large machete from the waistband of his pants.

White began swaying the machete. A male TSA agent used a bag of luggage to obstruct the machete as White entered the metal detector.

After crossing the detector, White started chasing a female TSA agent when Lt. Heather Slyve of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office took out her weapon. White continued swinging the machete as she advanced. She struck him in the face, chest and leg.
