Denver: One person died and seven got injured after bullets were fired and a stabbing occurred at a motorcycle expo in Denver on Saturday.
Talking to reporters, Police Chief Robert White said that they were trying to find the cause of the Denver Expo shooting which happened at the National Western Complex, where the Colorado Motorcycle Expo was being held this weekend. He added the violence forced the organisers to cancel the expo.
"Whether it was motorcycle gang-related, whether it was motorcycle club-related, that is still to be determined," White said. "This is very early on in the investigation."
Six injured were admitted to Denver Health Medical Center and three were in critical condition and the other three stable. It is learned that the police have not arrested anyone in connection with the incident.
The Colorado Motorcycle Expo is one of the largest motorcycle events in the country. A post to the Colorado Motorcycle's Facebook page said the event would continue Sunday and that "all of the offending parties have been ejected and all was well."
