Beyonce left many of her fans disappointed after she cancelled her Formation World Tour show in Nashville next week apparently without an explanation.

The Lemonade star's representatives announced that the May 5th show would be rescheduled soon.

Fans were posting their emotional selfies after they learnt of the news that Beyonce had cancelled the show. However it was observed that the May 5th date was not sold out like Beyonce's other shows, as per The Tennessean.

Just days after she started the tour in Miami, the singer has laid off her May 5th show at the Nissan Sadium. Her date in Tampa tonight and the dates in Atlanta and Raleigh next week are both going forward as planned.

Its unknown why the singer cancelled but the show is likely to be rescheduled. However, no new date has been announced yet.

As per TMZ, the singer's reason for cancelling could be because the stadium is undergoing some major renovations including new seats. Her spokesperson told E! News, "Following Wednesday's sold out opening night Formation World Tour concert in Miami, promoters Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert previously scheduled for Thursday, May 5 will be rescheduled."

"Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly and Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event."
