Apple Spring event: Red iPhone 7, 128GB iPhone SE and iPad Pro 2 to be unveiled in March?

Going by the yearly tradition, Apple could be planning a new event this March, which could see the unveiling of red iPhone 7, 128GB iPhone SE and iPad Pro 2.

According to numerous reports on the internet, Apple's spring event should bring fans some interesting updates to the iPhone and iPad line-up.

Tech enthusiasts are anticipating a new iPad Pro, a red version of the iPhone 7 and a higher-capacity iPhone SE.

The iPhone SE is the 4-inch "budget" mobile that Apple first unveiled in March last year.

For the last couple of years, Apple has planned events twice a year for launching products, once in March and another in September/October. It also has the Worldwide Developer's Conference in the summer, but this rarely involves new hardware.

What we can't say is whether it's going to take place towards the beginning or the end of the month.

There are several rumors floating around suggesting Apple is planning to reveal multiple new products at once.

Here's what you should expect to see:

A Red iPhone 7 / iPhone 7 Plus

According to the rumors, Apple will be unveiling a new red colour option for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Pictures are already circulating on the internet.

As for the price of the new red iPhones, we can assume it won't vary much from the current models (since the specs would be the same).

New iPad Pro

Coming to the iPad Pro line-up, a report from Mac Otakara would have Apple announce new 7.9-inch, 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and 12.9-inch models.

"We've got some exciting things coming on iPad and I'm optimistic about where things are headed," Apple CEO Tim Cook admitted earlier this month.

"Customer satisfaction is through the roof. iPad Pro at 99%. So I see a lot of good things and hope for better results."

His words could well confirm a new line-up.

A higher-capacity iPhone SE

Alongside red iPhones and new iPad models, Apple may launch a new iPhone SE with upgraded storage.

The new iPhone SE would feature a 128GB storage option, joining the existing 16GB and 64GB models on the Apple Store.
