Los Angeles: Sorry fans, but Brangelina is no more. Angelina Jolie Pitt has filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt, ending one of the world’s most talked-about, tabloid-generating romances.
An attorney for Jolie Pitt, Robert Offer, said Tuesday that the actress has filed for the dissolution of the marriage. Offer further said the decision was made “for the health of the family.”
Brad and Angelina have six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.
The couple has been together for 12 years, but got married only in August 2014. It was a private ceremony in the French hamlet of Correns in Provence with their children serving as ring bearers and throwing flower petals.
