Uma Bharti repeats: Will send Vadra to jail if I get power
Firebrand BJP leader and the party's Lok Sabha candidate from Jhansi Uma Bharati on Sunday reiterated that Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra will be sent behind bars if BJP-led NDA comes to power after the ongoing polls. Bharati accuses Vadra of violating norms to make money.
"Just because he is the son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi, all the Congress ruled state governments are afraid of him. Union ministers were also under pressure from him. He has made money by breaking all the norms," she said.
"Although my party gets annoyed with me, when the power will be in my hand, I will send 'jamaibabu' to jail," Bharati said.
It may be recalled that Bharati had last week claimed that Vadra has been involved in "several falsehood" and if the BJP comes to power at the Centre he "would go jail".
For his part, BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has recently said that his party will not engage in witch-hunt after coming to power at the Centre.
