The lawyer of jailed dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar today said that the Talwars will "not allow" any film or book on the murder of their daughter Aarushi and if anyone will to take do such things then the couple will take legal action against the involved people.
Manoj Sisodia, counsel for Talwars who have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a special CBI court in Ghaziabad for the double-murder of Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, said the couple were "upset" with media reports on the issue and will not "allow any Hollywood and Bollywood film director to make films on Aarushi case".
"We have got to know through media reports that some international and national film directors and writers are interested in making film and writing book on Aarushi case.
"Rajesh and Nupur are very upset that some persons wanted to make money by producing a flick and writing a book on the murder of their daughter whom they loved so much," said Sisodia.
He said the couple are still "in shock" and "inconsolable" after their conviction in this much-publicized case.
Sisodia said that legal action will be taken against the directors and writers who will try to make a film without taking consent from the Talwars.
It is to be noted that Hollywood film director Clip F Runyard had gone to Dasna Jail to meet the Talwars in order to seek their permission to make a film on Aarushi and write a book too. Runyrad, however, failed to meet the Talwars because he was not allowed by the jail authorities. Sources claimed that the filmmaker was willing to pay Rs five crore as royalty to the couple of they give their consent.
