Some Mumbai cops work for Dawood, claims Chhota Rajan - Underworld don Chhota Rajan, who was arrested in Bali, claimed on Tuesday that some officials in Mumbai police have colluded with India's most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim.
Talking to the media, Rajan said, "Mumbai police have committed atrocities on me and I don't trust them. There are some in the Mumbai police who are working with Dawood. The government should do justice to me keeping that in mind. I am not scared of Dawood and I will continue fighting against him and terrorism."
He is expected to be brought before a court soon where Indonesian police will submit details of the cases for which he is wanted in India. Officials believe that he could be expatriated to India in the next two-three days.
Rajan, whose original name is Rajendra Sadashiv Nikhalje, has been interrogated by the Indonesian police numerous times in the last few days to confirm his identity and criminal acts in India.
Because of nonexistence of an extradition treaty, the Indian authorities have already furnished documents to their Indonesian counterparts about his Indian identity to expedite his deportation.
