Rahul on poll campaign in WB, Tripura today

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit West Bengal and Tripura today.

He will hold meeting with party workers ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Rahul will start his visit with a meeting with Congress workers at the Zurrantee tea garden football ground at Jalpaiguri in West Bengal.

The Gandhi scion will then attend a public meeting that would be held at the Karaimura high school ground in Tripura.

Before that, Rahul will attend a meeting with party workers of West Bengal at the Shahid Minar at Kolkata.

Earlier during his Lok Sabha elections campaign, Rahul Gandhi held an interaction with tendu leaf-gatherer women in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district on Saturday, March 22, 2014.

The Gond and Baiga tribals along with several non-tribals had come from many places like Dindori and Seoni, to meet Rahul.

The Congress leader had a meeting scheduled with around 100 women from Patpara Raiyat Panchayat, 476 km East of Bhopal.

Same day he visited Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh district on his campaign trail, where he addressed a rally.
