Chicago Bulls were once nurturing ambitions that Derrick Rose would remain their leader for many years to come and play an important role in guiding them to numerous championships. But fate had other plans as Rose has been stricken with injury after injury and now his stay at the Bulls may soon end.
The Bulls are expected to start rebuilding their roster soon and it will spell departure of Rose from Chicago. It is learned that the Bulls are planning to trade Rose to the Sacramento Kings.
Rose has faced several injuries over the past few years and in 2015-2016, he played the most games he played 66 games - his most in six years. The year before that, it was 51 games. In 2013-2014, it was just 10. Chicago are looking for a reliable player and they are in desperate need of a point guard who can stay on the court at the time of crisis.
The NBA free agency is set to arrive this summer and the Kings are will definitely want to do some moves. Rajon Rondo is expected to be traded. Ben McLemore has also failed to live up to his potential in his first three seasons with the Kings, but analysts maintain that he may benefit from being somewhere different and starting fresh.
Fansided claims that "Project McLemore" has come to an end and the time has come that he should change his court. That court could be in Chicago, and if paired with another player or draft pick, the Bulls may think of sending Rose to Sacramento.
