Indian smartphone manufacturer, Micromax, on Wednesday announced that it will launch 19 new devices, including tablets and LED TVs, in India this month. The company also announced a new flagship smartphone series called Canvas 6, which will be priced at Rs 13,999 and will come in two SKUs - Canvas 6 with 3GB RAM and all metal body, and a Canvas 6 Pro with 4GB RAM.
Micromax also unveiled a new brand identity with the launch of its new logo and brand philosophy 'Nuts: Guts: Glory.'
The Canvas 6 includes an all metal uni-body design and a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It has a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m SoC, Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The Canvas 6 has a 13MP rear camera, while an 8MP camera is in charge of selfies. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner on the back completes the package.
On the other hand, Canvas 6 Pro integrates a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m, Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
