Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, has congratulated Indian media for finding some proof of the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army on terror launch pads in PoK region and thereby "exposing" Pakistan's false propaganda.
However, the Aam Aadmi Party leader still wants the government to expose Pakistan's false propaganda internationally.
India Army had reportedly inflicted "severe damages" to terrorists and their abode in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in the surgical strikes on the intervening night of September 28 and 29. Two Pakistani soldiers were also killed in the strikes. But, Pakistan has been denying the surgical strikes and rather trying to convince the world that India and Indian Army were lying about the surgical strikes.
Cleverly, Kejriwal had earlier congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Army for conducting the surgical strikes, in a video message. However, in the same message, he had indirectly asked the PM to submit proof of the strikes to expose Pakistan's false propaganda.
His remarks resulted in huge uproar. Then on Wednesday, Indian Express published a detailed report of the damage inflicted on terrorists by the Indian Army during the surgical strikes. The report, quoting residents of PoK, said that bodies of the terrorists were carried in trucks for secret burials.
Delhi CM took to the social media to congratulate the media. But still, he said the government should now make efforts to expose Pakistan internationally.
He tweeted, "So happy that some media exposing Pak's false propaganda. I congratulate them. Urge Indian govt to likewise expose Pak internationally."
