Kapil Mishra stopped from entering Zakir Nagar, was to meet old widow Mehrunissa

Former AAP minister Kapil Mishra has been stopped at Bharat Nagar Gurudwara by Delhi Police denying him entry to Okhla's Zakir Nagar.

Disgruntled with Kejriwal, Mishra was headed there to meet an old widow Mehrunissa. The widow is a victim of bulleying tactics of land-grabbers of the area who allegedly have the backing of area MLA Amanatullah Khan.

Now police stopping Kapil Mishra from meeting the woman is being seen as the doing of Arvind Kejriwal and Okhla MLA as they do not want their wrongdoing to come out in the open.

Recently, the 72-year-old woman was threatened and beaten up by goons who wanted to grab her flat. The incident happened in Zakir nagar area where the woman now lives alone after her husband died about a month ago.

Since the woman has no children, these anti-social elements saw it as the perfect opportunity to usurp her property.

These goons tried to occupy the flat of old widow Mehrunissa and beat her up. When Congress party's councillor candidate Parvez Alam Khan reached there and tried to stop them, he too was attacked and was badly injured. He had to admitted in Holy Family hospital for treatment.

Two days later again the goons returned to occupy the hapless woman's flat and once again beat her up. Ex-MLA Asif Mohammad Khan and Parvez Alam Khan reached there and when they opposed, the goons fired at them with guns.

Luckily no one was seriously injured.
