Who would have thought that a cheeseburger could become a debatable topic all over the world. The whole issue hogged the limelight when Google CEO Sundar Pichai jumped into the 'cheesy' discussion.
It all started when Thomas Baekdal, the founder of Baekdal Media, pointed out the difference between the cheeseburger emojis used by Apple and Google through Twitter.
The cheeseburger order of ingredients that Apple used for its emoji was bun, tomato, cheese, patty, lettuce, and then bun. The order that Google used, on the other hand, was the bun, lettuce, tomato, patty, cheese, and then bun.
The difference in both emojis is the placing of the layer of cheese which induced an extensive debate between cheeseburgers lovers. The comparison ignited a massive debate between cheeseburger lovers on the perfect way to assemble their beloved snack.
Baekdal's tweet has been tweeted nearly 14,000 times at the time of writing, with over a thousand users also providing their opinions over the topic. This is not all for users, they started looking at the cheeseburger emojis used by other technology companies such as Samsung, Microsoft, and Huawei.
The debatable topic also dragged celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay who also shared a "perfect burger tutorial", that ordered the cheeseburger at bun, tomato, patty, cheese, lettuce, and then bun.
However, Pichai said that as the matter will resolve, Google will re-arrange its cheeseburger emoji.
