Gold Cup 2015 soccer: USA take on Haiti, TV schedule, streaming details and preview - After the FIFA Women's World cup, the spotlight has shifted to the U.S. men's national team in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, which started Tuesday night in Frisco, Tex.

The Gold Cup is the championship of teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean and takes place biennially. Group play commences Tuesday and continues until July 15. The quarterfinals are scheduled to be played on July 18 and 19, the semifinals on July 22, the third-place game on July 25 and the final on July 26 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

United States, Panama, Haiti, Honduras make up the Group A. Group B consists of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Jamaica, and Canada. Group C has Mexico, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, and Cuba.

There are thirteen venues in the United States and one in Canada, with Toronto holding Group B matches on July 14.

The top two teams from each group along with the top two third-place finishers progress to the knockout round. The winner will face the defending champion United States in a single-game playoff to qualify for 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, in Russia. If the United States wins Gold Cup tournament, it will qualify directly for the Confederations Cup.

If the USMNT is first or second in its group, it will play in the quarterfinals on July 18 in Baltimore, likely at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
