A call centre woman employee was allegedly gang-raped at knife-point by two men in South-East Bengaluru.
The incident occurred on the night of October 3, when the victim, who is in her twenties, was gang-raped, city's Police Commissioner NS Megharikh said.
The woman, who hails from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, left office at 9:30 pm on Saturday and boarded a private mini-bus to the city's south-east, where she stayed with her sister.
However, two men who were in the minibus, and the driver, allegedly took the woman to a deserted area and gang-raped her at knife-point. The men dropped her near a temple in Madiwala area.
The woman called her sister, who took her to the St. John's Hospital nearby. According to the police, the woman left the hospital on Monday, and a special team has been formed to trace the two men.
