Asus will launch its new ZenFone 3 range of smartphones in Taiwan on July 12, reported a Taiwanese website. The new Asus ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra smartphones were launched at the Computex last month.
The Taiwanese company is yet to reveal a global availability date for the new ZenFone 3 series. Asus at the global launch had revealed pricing of the new models, the Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) has been priced starting at $249 (roughly Rs. 16,800), the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) is priced at $499 (roughly Rs. 33,600), and the Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) priced at $479 (roughly Rs. 32,200).
It is to be noted that all three ZenFone 3 models have few features in common such as the full metal design, fingerprint scanner, 8-megapixel selfie cameras, hybrid dual-SIM slots, optical and electronic image stabilisation.
The Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) features a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 SoC. It comes with 3G RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage variant, and a 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage variant. Storage can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The rear camera is of 16MP. The device sports a a 3000mAh battery.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) have the world's first invisible antenna design. It also has a 5.7-inch full-HD Super Amoled display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and 6GB of RAM. There's 64GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). The rear
camera is of 23-megapixel.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) features a massive 6.8-inch full-HD IPS display, Snapdragon 625 SoC and 4GB of RAM. Its in-built storage is 64GB which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The ZenFone 3 Ultra has a 23-megapixel camera on the back.
