After trading barbs with Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes, Mel Gibson parties with girlfriend Rosalind Ross - After making some acerbic comments at Ricky Gervais during the Golden Globes awards night on Sunday, Hollywood star Mel Gibson hit the town with his girlfriend.
The 60-year-old Expendables 3 star and his girlfriend Rosalind Ross, 24, were spotted exiting hand-in-hand from the CAA award show afterparty at Sunset Tower Hotel on Sunday night.
TMZ reported that Gibson donned a black tux with a matching bowtie, while Ross opted for a strapless, purple gown with a flowing train.
At Golden Globes, Gibson was at the receiving end of some friendly, expletive-laden jabs from host Gervais while onstage as a presenter. Gervais joked about the past drinking habits of Gibson and the actor responded saying that seeing Gervais every three years always reminds him to get a colonoscopy.
Gibson and Ross have been going around since this summer and spent time together at the actor's Costa Rica compound, sources told PEOPLE.
Ross won a gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky in 2010, and is also a budding screenwriter. She studied writing and literature at Emerson College. She also wrote an episode of the El Rey Network's action series Matador. In 2011, Ross posed without spandex (along with equestrian partner Devon Maitozo) for ESPN Magazine's 2011 Body Issue.
